  VICTIMS

You are not alone ...

Our volunteers have experienced the grief and pain you are going through right now.   The members of our national network of volunteers are family members of truck crash victims or crash victims themselves.   If you would like to speak with one of our volunteers, please contact us at crash@ trucksafety.org or (703) 294-6404.

Practical Tips for Survivors:

Take care of yourself.  Make sure you are eating nutritious meals regularly, exercising, and getting as much rest as possible.

Make sure you have someone to talk to.  Whether it is a friend, couselor, or a Survivors Network/First Response volunteer, speak freely with someone who is a good listener.

Ask for help from people you can trust:  A close friend, a relative, or a volunteer from the Truck Safety Coalition.  There are practical matters that you must attend to immediately.

If you have lost a loved one in a truck crash and would like to have their picture posted on the "Memorial" Section of our website, please let us know. You can email a picture to patt@ trucksafety.org or crash@ trucksafety.org. Please include their name, date/location of crash, cause of the crash, and any thoughts you would like to share.

The Truck Safety Coalition is dedicated to reducing preventable truck crash deaths and injuries in memory and honor of all those who have been affected by such crashes in the past.  The memorial photographs on this site contain the faces of truck crash victims and survivors given to us in celebration of life by members of the Survivors Network who fight along side us to create safer highways for all motorists, including truck drivers.

Their hope, and ours, is to prevent other families from experiencing the pain and trauma of a big truck crash. To join in these efforts, please contact us at either patt@ trucksafety.org,
CRASH@ trucksafety.org or at (703) 294-6404.
